We found him on caitlin's bed with a note saying that he wanted to eat her...

So we showed him where it says that you aren't allowed to eat people in the Bible...

He immediately got saved.

so we decided that we should show him what the Emmaus Life is all about.

first he called the president to ask if it was okay for him to attend college.

He got up early to run on the work out...

...but he fell off the treadmill so he tried lifting weights.

he's a strong rat.

He took a shower...

so he slid down the banister and went to Old Testament Survey.

he had to leave class because he was coughing too much, so he got a drink.

he frolicked with his new friends down the hall.

he made nice with the R.A.

he played the pianno.

he played ping pong.

with rachel yost.

he tried to put together a puzzle...but it was too hard.

he played foozball with meridith

he tried to order some coffee, but courtney insisted that rats do not drink coffee.

so he had to ride down the street to ONE MEAN BEAN in order to be served.

after his trek, he checked his mail.

he did not smoke

he went to play some basketball and then found out that he got Gym SWAP

Rachel Dake was excited!

but then she found out that he was taking over her gym swap! OH NO!

in the end, our rat decided that Smart 3 was not for him. mainly because he lacked the brains to live there. rumor has it that he is soon to move to Harlow 2 right....we shall see what the future holds for our lovely little rat.

Adrian and Allison were the Big Bad Wolf and Little Red Ridinghood...obviously.

This was the costume that won. The calculator has every button that a real TI-83 plus has. They said that it took them about 12 hours to make!

Amy and Matt went as gorillas and acted like it all night.

I woke up at 8:23 this morning. The sleep in was nice, however, my first class starts at 8:25.
Amazingly, I was in OT Survey by 8:28.
Not too bad.
So after OT, I came up here, showered, and cleaned my room.
I'm also listening to Tony Evans from Moody last year.

fuuun stuff.
i'm excited to go to my grandparents tomorrow.
yay.

Good news guys.
I know that you all were soo concerned.
Ahem, I passed room inspections today.
Yep, that's right.

my bed was made, my desk was clean.
my trash was emptied, my drawers were closed.
there were no drugs or alcohol to be found.
yes, i passed.

tonight we have a floor party.
We are going to a garden and having a picnic.
I'm excited.

At lunch we were discussing my infatuation with monks coming out of the walls and getting me in my sleep (Emmaus is former monestary).
Kristin and Matt said that they are going to get a cardboard cutout of a monk and put it in my room.

creeepy!

that said, i'm going to try to find one on e-bay.

Kristin, Caitlin and I went to Wal Mart to pick up the pictures that I had developed and we found these amazingly stupid trucker hats that have a spot for our school id in them...they were a dollar so we bought them...some of the other kids at school were way excited and made their way to wal mart to join our dumb freshmen club. We'll see how long that lasts.

Last night we went to the english prof, Mr. Lange's house.
It was a lot of fun and I really got to know some of the girls on my floor.
When we got back some of us went to the student center to hang out and eventually we ended up in my room with kettle corn and pop. most of the girls stayed until 12:30 but Caitlin (I'm not entirely sure how to spell her name) stayed in and eventually a new girl, Rachel, who we had not met yet came in at about 1. They left at 2 and needless to say, I did not make it to breakfast this morning.

We registered for classes today and I decided to start on the AA in Bible. So i'm taking:

OT Survey
Intro to Missions
English Comp
Survey of Doctrine
Christian Life and Bible Study
Intro to College Life

I need to get my books today and then we have meetings tonight.
Maybe we'll see Kevin today sometime.

I'm at Emmaus and I love my room. I really want to start classes and get into the swing of things here. It's only the first day so it's awefully hard to make any decisions so far. I know that some of the girls that I've met are really nice.

So i got my wisdom teeth out monday morning and it wasn't so bad until last night. I woke up in a lot of pain and took more meds and got more ice, but realized that my aunt had decided that it was a good time to drop by for a visit...i now have ice on my face and heat on stand-by, soon to be on my abs.

i got to talk to my friend from jamaica/pennsylvania tonight.
i'm really glad that i got to. i really miss that group.
i miss the time that we were allowed to spend with them.
the time that we weren't getting put down by a particular person.
i would love to take a trip out there to see them.
anyone else want to go to pennsylvania? or better jamaica?
we can ride around with our crazy busdriver, chris.
afterall, alex does have his number.
